GRAVY TRAIN

Today started a long time ago.
It was dark then
As it is now

I keep thinking of the woman in Asda.
The one who stopped me mid aisle
and apologised for troubling me
she asked me
if I could reach up
and grab two pots of gravy.

I gladly gave her what she asked for
we looked at each other for a while
then I walked away

I saw her later in the wine section
but said nothing
later I thought that maybe
I should of asked her
if she needed anything else

but what else would a lady need
but two big pots of gravy.?
