Dear Word Salad Faithful – 

The editors of Word Salad encourage you to tap into the dormant muse locked in your pen stroke (or your touch happy digits shuffling across your e-gadgets if you’re feeling frisky) as we are ready to accept submissions for our spring 2012 issue.

As always, it’s open season here at Word Salad: 

we accept poetry on any subject;

written in any particular style;

any individual poem (s) can be of any given length;

we accept works from local poets; 

poets Nationwide; 

poets Worldwide; 

we prefer email submissions;

above all … no entry fee required!

Naturally, things that sound too good to be true have its catches: we ask that you submit no more than six poems per submission. Try to squeeze in five. Four if you can. At least strive for three. Two poems? Ah, c’mon … you can do better …

But seriously, 3 –6 poems per entry is a good ratio. Quality over quantity is a great mantra to abide by.

Also, please remember to include your name or pseudonym and email address in either your submission or within the body of your email (we prefer it being located within the submission as it’s easier to locate).

Send your poetry in either Rich Text Format (RTF), PDF or in Microsoft Word. Please include all poems and cover letter along with contact info into one file.

Submit at your earliest convenience, as the deadline for this submission is Midnight March 11, 2012.
